Bio: Ravyn is the only child of Karraks couple, who are both shifters (more or less experienced with it). Because of this he learned about his skill at an early age, as well as about his mother's work as an jewelry crafter. The family lived in a small town in the Kingdom of Alevale, Ravyn practicing both shifting and crafting. His father's job is wine making, but the young boy was always more interested in shiny little jewels than alcohol. In return of his wife doing the "teaching" for their son, Ravy's father took the weapon handling upon himself. The redhead learned how to use several weapons but found spears (and sometimes swords) the best for himself. Ravyn isn't much of a fighter though, since he doesn't enjoy fighting and resorts to violence only if it's necessary.

Most of his childhood went with learning about shifting, jewelry crafting and weapon handling, so he didn't have much free time or time to study other things. His knowledge is pretty limited to these three things and he's more practical than book-wise. At his free time he played with the other kids. Being a shifter did make some problems every once in a while in his social-life, but because of his animal-form being as harmless looking thing as a raven it didn't cause any bigger dilemmas.

When he was 16 Ravyn's parents were starting to have some social and financial problems. At the time the boy had become a very good crafter as well as a shifter, and he was becoming more independent and curious as time passed by. Ravyn needed to have some space and his parents needed some money and time to go through with their problems, so the boy decided to leave for the big city. His father knows people from there, so he got a job (from a store) and a little apartment to live in for Ravyn. The boy visits his parents a lot and tries to explore the world as much as possible, as well as trying to collect money to help his parents. He's also such an outgoing person that taking part of any kind of activity and social situation is also in his top priorities.

Personality summary: Growing up with his open-minded and practical parents Ravyn became very genuine and open person. He has trouble hiding his true emotions, if he's trying to hide them in the first place. He's not trying to be something he isn't. The boy might try to avoid some specific things (like changing in front of everyone) but he can't lie... if he tries everyone can see through it. Many people have often though how Ravyn can go through with his life like that, but the boy has shown that he's able to live very well on his own in the city.

Because of his open and straightforward personality Ravyn might appear as inconsiderate and brash to many people. He also loses his temper pretty easily, getting angry and annoyed, but also relents as quickly. Some people get really annoyed by the boy's shift of moods, when Ravyn himself doesn't seem to notice them at all.

Ravyn does the job assigned to him very passionately and the same thing goes with people. He wants to help his friends (and sometimes strangers too) with all he can, devoting himself to them. He's also very affectionate towards his friends, but also respects someone's personal space if asked. With these features also comes his possessive nature. Ravyn gets easily jealous over people and even items. If something is his then nobody else can have it.

The redhead isn't really smart. He isn't exactly stupid, more like immature and ditzy. He doesn't have experience in many things, mainly things involving romantic feelings, and is pretty oblivious to them.

Ravyn doesn't really care what other people think of him as long as they don't come and throw rocks at him (then he gets aaangry) so he doesn't try to pretend or change for others. This is both good and a bad thing, since he has some faults that he should probably work at. If there is someone he really likes he might even try to change for them if asked.

The boy likes being around others, searching for social contact as a daily basics. Especially now that he's in the large city he feels like he has a lot to do, since he grew up in a small town. He's really playful in both his human and raven form, always seeking something to do and someone to hang out with. Ravyn doesn't always even need a friend who's as energetic as he is, and welcomes even the quiet and withdrawn people to his company if they accept him.

Ability: Metamorphosis. He's able to turn into a (common) raven, therefor gaining the bird's qualities. In this form Ravyn is able to fly, fit into smaller places and sense things differently from a human (for example, his sense of smell is more exact) As a raven he's also omnivorous, even though he isn't really picky as a human either.

Other: Works as a jewelry crafter. Inherited the skill from his mother. He loves his jobs (fitting for a raven) and does it with passion, going as far as becoming a perfectionist about it.
