Bio: Born in the kingdom of Alevale, to commoners whose names are hardly important to society; Royll was brought into the world one spring month in the city of Applefield. He was a happy child, mostly, a momma’s boy and an obedient son. He was brought up to hold up true values of trust, dignity and honor, even to those whom consider themselves superior.

And this view didn’t change even when his parents were ‘taken’ from him. Now most would immediately think that they were murdered; and that of course was what the ten-year old Royll was told as well? Really however they were traitors, informants sent from the kingdom of Drakon and were subsequently executed for their crimes. The village elder, knowing how Royll would take it if everything he had ever been told was a lie, decided it was best to keep this fact from him; and instead it was told that they were kidnapped and murdered by bandits.

So Royll grew up, being taken in by the village elder as his son; and taught the boy his trade. The elder was a blacksmith, and as such the boy would eventually become one as well. However, in his heart he wanted something more and at the age of sixteen, he left the city of Applefield and journeyed for years on his own. It was rumored that he even went so far as to ditch the country entirely, and explore Drakon as well; however that has never been confirmed. Actually, most of his ‘adventures’ have never been told or heard of and lay deep within his heart even now.

Of course he returned to Appelfield, a decade later; at the age of 26 and has been working since then as a master blacksmith. His blades have earned him even royal regard as the best in Alevale; and the elder whom had once taught him the trade passed on several years before he returned. The secrets surrounding the decade of his travels have never been unraveled and people hardly ever question why he carries a blade at his side. Why he wears such a strange hat. Some claim however, that they have seen him wander off into the surrounding wilderness at night. One even claims that Royll had become one with that blade here carries, and that his skill vastly surpasses even those of the royal guard. That however, has never been confirmed for Royll is not the type to flaunt his abilities.

Personality summary: During his decade long travel, Royll has worked up quite a personality for himself. He is aloof, kind and stubborn. He hardly ever sees a way other than his own, and yet never scolds anyone for doing something their own way. He feels there is no reason to trifle with people whom have different beliefs than him; especially if they believe it with all their heart.

However, most of all he is helpful. That is the best way to put it. A sword needs repairing, sure free of charge. He isn’t the type to grunge for money even if he is being hired; and he is extremely modest, always claiming that his blades could use more work. One thing that sets him apart from others is he prefers to be around others and hates to be alone. In fact, on several occasions he goes out of his way to cause a scene to draw people to him.

One other thing to note: He prefers to go by the name Mr. Nash… for presently unknown reasons. As a blacksmith that is both his locally known name and his professionally known name.


Ability: Now none of these are known publically, but very simply, he’s a spell-sword. Meaning he uses magical energies to power his blade and strikes at close range with it. Branching off from that, he has devastating speed, which in turn helps him out and into tight spots.

His other notable ability would be his fine craftsmanship when it comes to making blades.

Other: He has a pet cat and his only weapon appears to be a sword at his side.
