Veransea, or, as she prefers to be known as, Sea has lived a fairly full life to this point. She was a princess; in fact she still is, even through she will never hold any power. Her mother was sweet, she loved nature and seemed to almost hold a bond with nature. She was beautiful too, and the king fell in love with her. She died in child birth, so in a way it was almost Sea’s fault for her death. Her step-mother was something of a pretty air-head who loved power but never had the sense to use it. Her father was only slightly wiser and could never resist a beauty. Her step-mother became queen shortly after her birth-mother’s death and was the only mother Sea knew. before this however, when Sea was born the king was furious – he needed a son, not a daughter! It wasn’t for a few more years, born by the second wife that a son came to the world. Unlike Sea, this son was treated like royalty, loved by all. Well the prince grew sot on fine food and attention, Sea worked hard. She studied long into the knight, she trained with a bow and arrow and became so accustomed to horse riding she could do so unthinkingly on horse back.

Her activities where frowned upon, but at the same time everyone was insistent – they would pretend she did not exist, and so she was able to train, grow hard and strong with no one to stop her. It was the food that killed her father; he ate to much, and too badly. His heart couldn’t handle it anymore and he died. The prince rose to the throne, untrained and suddenly with power his lust for it grew stronger. He began wars to expand his kingdom, and even grew a love for bloodlust. Kingdom full of air-heads became one of blood-lusting fools. Sickened and unable to see the madness of her homeland the princess fled. She stole a horse, her greatest and only friend and took out across the land.

The horse, midnight, died on the road and she was forced to abandon the body of her friend and move on, at the slow pace of her own two feet. She took to meditating long hours in the forest, taught herself wood craft and with her skills on a bow was able to sustain herself. She kept moving however, always moving. And after two years of wondering almost aimlessly, through wilderness away from society she stumbled into a kingdom...

Summary:
After everything she had been through, Sea is something of an odd character. She loves logic and can apply it fairly well to any situation, and yet she doesn’t understand the society of humans. She gets nature and animal life better then that of human’s. she could explain to you the fine points of why a bee collects honey, but even to save her own life couldn’t fathom something as idle as gossip. She likes strength and weakness confuses her. Well she will do all she can to get someone else to try to save themselves before she steps in, she does still have something of a hero complex and wont let someone die well she could have done something to stop it. At times she can seem cold, even callous, with a lack of sympathy, but this is due to her own experience – you harden up or you die.

Animal communication – Sea can speak to animals, even the none-fantasy kind, and feels she understands them better then she does humans. the reason for the skill is due to elf blood passed on to her through her mother. She doesn’t know this because her mother died before she could tell her.

One of Sea’s strongest points is her abilities with a bow and arrow. Due to experience she’s hard to beat. She is also beginning to learn sword-play and is picking it up fast.
