Doku was slowly falling asleep, but he forced himself to try and stay awake. "A tribe of shifters?.... Sound interesting...... And they kicked.... her out...... That's terrible," he stated, looking in the direction the man was, but obviously couldn't see him. He breathed in the scents of the flowers around him again. "That must have..... been horrible. Dying while.... giving birth. Never..... getting to see your child.... grow up or taking..... care of them. I can.... understand why you would..... want to shield the pain, but truthfully.... I think you should have.... told her.... She didn't know her mother.... So there wouldn't be that much pain," he stated, looking around.
He woke up now, wanting to know what Royll had to say about what he said. He blinked. "Why are you out here so late, anyways?" he asked, looking up at him with clear curiosity.

Royll smiled softly as the fox seemed to be drifting off to sleep. He was actually about to walk off into the night, had the boy not started talking again. He just shook his head at this and listened to the boy's words. They seemed to be about the same thing as before; he wanted Royll to tell his daughter the truth, and that was truly and admirable quality. However, it wasn't his decision to make, the truth had to come only from one person. If it didn't then the pain would be all the more real. "You are a persistent one aren't ya?" The comment seemed to hang in the air as Royll sighed and looked down upon the laying fox. Although they couldn't see each other, the presence between them was obvious. "Truth is, I'm a bit scared too." There he said it, was the boy happy, or was he expecting some other reason? For years he had told Jasmine about her mother; all those lies built up now, and if he finally told her the truth the pain would be equal to all those lies. He didn't want that, not for her, not for himself. Luckily, the fox had provided an easy switch in venue for Royll with his final question, and the hatted man didn't wait for him to respond again before continuing. "You know already, I'm visiting my friend." The words were half mumbled but true enough it was the reason he was here. It was only coincidence that he ran into the shifter, and now something greater than coincidence was occurring.

"You couldn't have waited.... until morning?" Doku asked, looking at Royll. He let out another huge yawn, a small sound coming with it. The kind of sound dogs sometimes make when they yawn. It was kind of cute, even thought its coming from a huge, silvery fox with blood stuck to his pelt. His eyes began to droop a bit. "If I find her.... Where should I meet..... you?" he asked, he would at least wait for an answer before he fell asleep.
The clouds finally uncovered the moon, shedding light back into the flowery fields once again. He looked exhausted and he was. That battle with both Royll and then the wolves was tiring. He had to get used to it, though. If he was going to join the army again. That was his plan, yet he hadn't gone towards the castle yet. Maybe he was still kind of unsure. Or maybe he was enjoying his freedom while he still could, he wasn't quite sure.

So the fox was thinking that far ahead. It was true they would need some sort of meeting place, but Royll didn't see any reason why not to use this field. Granted, they had been attacked here, but his enemy, if it even was his wouldn't attack the same place twice. If his suspicions were correct ; they liked to remain in the shadows and wouldn't do anything that would draw them too much attention from outsiders. Keeping limited amount of people involved would be there goal. "Here will be just fine, I'm here every other day from early evening to late at night." He finally answered after a brief silence. It was with this though, he turned to leave and adjusted his hat. "Get some sleep, you must be tired." He commented softly before walking off slowly into the night. His visage guarded by the clouds which shielded the moonlight from his skin. There would be a storm later tonight, but for now all was quiet. A calm before the storm. [Exit Royll]
